I’ve not read any of these books yet but I definitely have The Cruel Prince high up on my tbr list!
Oh, The Cruel Prince did a 180 on me right in the middle the book and I love it so much. I hope you enjoy it too.
I recently acquired some of the books on this list! Now I’m even more excited to get to them!
YASS!!! Which ones did you get?
Bone Gap, The Scorpio Races, and Foolish Hearts.
GAH! If you like magical realism books, you will love Bone Gap. The Scorpio Races is so swoony and calm like the sea. And Foolish Hearts is so adorable–it’s basically a hug in book form.
Well with descriptions like that how can I NOT want to dive right in??
HAHAHAH, I hope you enjoy them.
YES to FOOLISH HEARTS!!! I loved that one!! Have you read THIS ADVENTURE ENDS?? Because it is equally as happy & angelic.
YES! This Adventure Ends is what made me fall in love with Emma’s books. It’s so funny and cute.
I want to read Happiness for Beginners! That cover is awesome ♥
Zoe, you must! I’ve read it three times and I still can’t get over how the book makes me feel. It’s definitely a comforting book for fighters and swooners.
The Bone Gap and Winner’s Curse both surprised me in a good way too!
Yay! I didn’t know what to expect from both of them but I loved how they ended.
I’m so glad to see Pacifica and The Cruel Prince on your good list! I just got both of them this past weekend and can’t wait to read them!!
Both of them were a constant page-turner for me. I hope you enjoy them as well.
A few of my faves up there – Siren Queen, Foolish Hearts, and The Accident Season. I had started Bone Gap on audio, and it wasn’t working for me, but I think it was the format, not the story. I am going to try again with the book, because everyone raves about this book.
Audio books don’t work for me. I always wonder if I would have liked Eleanor and Park if I read it instead of listened to it.
I will be adding some of the books you’ve listed to my ever growing reading wishlist!!

Daughter of The Pirate King was so much fun! I wasn’t keen on The Accident Season, or The Scorpio Races, I prefer Stiefvater’s Raven Cycle series.

DotPK is so good and action-packed. I love magical realism and fantasy books, so of course, I adored The Accident Season and The Scorpio Races, lol
It definitely is! I love fantasy, but I’m not so keen on magical realism, so maybe that’s why I wasn’t so keen on those two.
The Scorpio Races was my first by that author and I haven’t looked back since then. 🙂

I was a late comer to The Scorpio Races (I read it last year) and I am so glad I gave it a try.
The Scorpio Races isn’t my favorite book by Maggie Stiefvater. It was pretty meh for me. The Cruel Prince completely surprised me a few times! I still need to read a lot of these.
Do You Dog-ear?
AHHH…whenever I think about The Cruel Prince I get so giddy. I need the second book NOW!
I loved Cruel Prince! And really want to read Daughter of the Pirate King! I did TTT on my blog too 🙂 Happy reading!
If you like action, adventure, swoons, and banter, then Daughter of the Pirate King is perfect for you.
