This week’s topic is Favorite Bookmarks, but I wanted to change it up a little and list some “odd” items I have used as a bookmark.
Ten Items I have Used as a Bookmark
- A leaf
- A receipt
- Another book
- A pen or pencil
- My cell phone
- A CD
- A dollar bill
- A plastic snack cake wrapper
- One of Josephine’s dog treats
Other than a typical bookmark, what sort of items have you used as a bookmark?
Haha No.4 made me laugh – and I’m pretty sure I’ve done that at some point, too!
Books are so helpful in all ways, lol.
So many random things to use as bookmarks!

hahaha, you can basically use anything. LOL
I have used a receipt before!
Check out my Top 10
It’s an easy go-to bookmark when it’s right there in front of you, lol.
I hope Josephine eventually got to eat that treat. Ha!
My TTT.
hahaha, she did. She kept smelling my book and I had to give it up, lol.
A leaf would be a pretty cool bookmark actually!
Yes, I think it’s so pretty.
I’ve used 1,3,4 & 6, too. Totally normal. 😉
Hahaha! Yay!
I use postcards & playing cards a lot.

Oh that’s a great idea. I don’t have a lot of postcards, but I could definitely use a playing card.
My most commonly used bookmark (besides the many Ink&Wonder ones I have and love) is just the flap of the book jacket!!

yes! I should have put that, lol.
I have definitely used money as a bookmark, and my cellphone! Sometimes you just have to use what you have at hand lol.
hahahaha, yes!
