Happy November! It’s a new month, which means a new “To-Be-Read” pile.
November is an emotional month for me, so I decided to stick to reading a few of my favorite books to help ease some of that sadness. I have already read all of these books, but sometimes you just need to go back to reading a book that you know is good and will help you cope with hard times.
GOODREADS LINKS:
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
- The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
- The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
Enjoy your November reads ❤ Our favourite books are like friends sometimes, they're there to take us away when we need it ❤
Also, random question, where did you buy that candle? I can't quite make out the website printed on it. It sounds amazing!
It’s a candle by Canterbury Road Co. I’m obsessed with their candles. Link: https://www.canterburyroadco.com/
These are all good picks for comfort reads. Little Women is such a classic. I watched a documentary recently about Louisa May Alcott and what an interesting life!
Oh, how interesting. What did you watch the documentary on?
I’ll have to double check with my husband because we have 3 streaming services (we haven’t had cable for 4 or 5 years) but I want to say it was on Amazon Prime.
I hope your November would be good, in the end! 🙂
And The Scorpio Races is an amazing book! ❤
Thank you so much! I hope you have an amazing reading month too. I cannot wait to reread The Scorpio Races. I remember loving it so much last year.
*hugs* I’m trying to knock out some of my ARCs and/or books that have been languishing on my shelves for a while. So far I’ve gotten to City of Ghosts (on my “official” list) and The Forbidden Wish (on my shelves but not my list. I love that you share a TBR at the start of the month. This seems incredibly obvious since I do it on Instagram already but it’s only just occurred to me that I can pop that out from my end of month reading tracker. Genius.
Yes, I just recently started this monthly TBR post and I’m liking it so far. You should definitely try it.
Also, I think I might make December the month to knock out ARCs for me, but in all honesty, I should start now too, hahaha.
