  1. The Fall of the House of Usher is fantastic, as are most of Poe’s stories. 🙂 The Yellow Wallpaper and A Clockwork Orange were also two really interesting ones. I really want to read A Tale of Two Cities sometime, I’ve only ever read Great Expecations. Great list!

  2. I did required reading books I LIKED. To Kill a Mockingbird made my list, and The Scarlet Letter was short listed, but I omitted The Catcher in the Rye. I just didn’t click with that book.
